Technology for the future: Heating, ventilating and cooling using only one system / air conomy fulfils the desire of private and institutional clients to reduce costs / optimum energy exploitation and perfect room conditions
Selters (hds). – Functionality that saves energy and costs, plus multiple functionality – these are crucial success criteria for future heating systems. Just the facts supplied by the Federal Office of Statistics are sufficient impetus to devote serious thought to the question: Energy costs increased over the past 15 years by almost 60 percent, whereas disposable income only rose by around 46 percent.
However, by means of only one installation the dilemma of energy costs being too high can be brought to a conclusion. At the same time, room conditions will be created that are suitable for people who are prone to allergies. This innovation is called air conomy and originates from Schütz Energy Systems from Selters. This intelligent surface heating and ventilation system from the Westerwald has long since found its use in private residences and villas, as well as in commercial premises.
Three functions –
one system
This multiple benefit product is the first of its kind to use three climatic operating modes: It heats, ventilates and cools! At its core is a warm water panel heating system with an integrated and regulated ventilating and air extraction function. The system is installed out of sight in the floor. Due to its living space ventilation function, temperature fluctuations are avoided and there is only a minimal loss of heat. The underfloor heating system causes heat to be convected upwards into the room and additionally into the air conomy system below it. This way, heat loss from the underfloor heating is reduced. On colder days, the whole floor space in a room creates a pleasant and mild radiant heat. In addition, the heat loss from the underfloor heating can be reduced by this mode of operation. For complete operation, extremely low supply temperatures are required. For this reason, the system can transfer device carrier for modern heat generators, such as, for example, geothermal Pumps.
Fresh rooms on hot days
At warm times of the year, there is an optional facility for cooling rooms and likewise creating constant pleasant room conditions. Cold water is fed through the pipes in the floor as required. This lowers the temperature by about three to four degrees and leads to a constant freshness for the occupants, but without the flat or house turning into a 'fridge'.
Whether heating or cooling: At all times, there is access to fresh air and the facility for bringing it to the right temperature. Best possible supply to every nook and cranny is guaranteed by our air conomy system component.
No money flying out through the window
The exchange of air and heat in rooms is no longer to be carried out by opening and closing of windows, but rather via air outlets that are unobtrusively and discreetly incorporated into the floor. Old and stale air is fed via the venting system to a waste heat recovery system. This circuit enables the heating of fresh air streaming in at the same time. In this energy-saving manner, ideal and cosy room living conditions will be created.
A modern low-energy house - without air conomy - consumes an average of approximately 70 kWh of energy per square metre. Of this, generally about 50 percent of air infiltration heat is lost. Not when using air conomy: The heat recovery quota for this is about 90 percent. The energy consumed by the ventilation device is minimal when compared to the energy savings. People with allergies can breathe a sigh of relief
The exchange of air contaminated with odours and pollutants makes it possible for people with allergies to breathe a sigh of relief - literally: The ventilation system's integrated filters trap pollen and particulates, before they can penetrate rooms. The continual ventilation function also prevents the formation of damp and mould.
