Planning and installation “Air conomy®”
“At the beginning of the installation it is paramount that a plan of the air volume is set out. Air volume for apartments is regulated by DIN 1946 part 6. Although, when an extractor hood is planned it is not recommended that this is connected to the main ventilation network, due to the higher air circulation and the high fat content of the air. Schütz Energietechnik, Selters, Germany, has now improved the dimension and installation instructions for the combined heating, cooling and ventilation system by making it more practice orientated. With a number of extra tips in quotation form and complemented by layout examples the brochure “Technical information Air conomy®” helps prevent planning mistakes. The heating technology for luxury apartments and office buildings works on the basis of an underfloor heating/cooling system with a ventilated hollow floor.
