Internship vacancies

Would you like to gain practical experience during your university course and focus on your chosen career? As a student trainee we offer you the opportunity to launch your career while you study.

As a student trainee at SCHÜTZ you are responsible for a specific task or project area which is chosen to closely reflect your degree curriculum. This benefits you both in your studies and in your career path. Additional benefits include a fixed salary and low social security contributions.

This is what differentiates a student trainee from an internship:

• You work for us over a long period of time and are a fixed member of the team
• You work while university is in session (approx. 10 to max. 20 hours per week) and/or in the semester holidays
• We offer flexible time models to allow you to choose your working hours yourself. The success of your studies always takes priority.

This is what we expect from you:

• Relevant university or equivalent degree course
• Good marks and sufficient time
• Ideally, you will already have completed an internship at SCHÜTZ and stood out on account of your exceptionally good performance.

Student trainee vacancies

Would you prefer to examine a real, material subject in your bachelor, master or final year project instead of delving into the depths of theory?

Then show us your potential for innovation and write your dissertation with SCHÜTZ.

We will work with you to choose the topic, giving you the advantage of working on an exciting current project in a state-of-the-art industrial environment. We will support you with our know-how and provide expert supervision while you work on your dissertation. We can offer subjects in a wide range of different fields, e.g. commercial, process, production, engineering, electro-technology, development and IT topics. 

Our aim is a win-win situation which is valuable for both sides: for you (and your studies) and for our company. For SCHÜTZ, fresh ideas and good work are very often the starting point for a job offer within the company at a later point.

This is what we expect from you:

• Degree course in engineering, economics, industrial engineering or information technology
• Student grades that are “good” and better
• Ideally you will have completed a relevant internship or have gained prior professional experience

Then the SCHÜTZ trainee programme is perfect for you!

As a trainee you work in different projects independently and learn all about your chosen focus in a range of divisions and areas in Germany and internationally.  SCHÜTZ will give you the freedom to actively shape the trainee programme. You will be supported by a mentor who is your dedicated contact person for the duration of your programme. We’re certain that at the end of the programme you will have staked out your career and professional interests very precisely. As a rule, the duration of the trainee programme is 18 months.
