Developed for paints and coatings: SC1 CLEANCERT jerrycans
The new SC1 range of jerrycans expands the existing SCHÜTZ product portfolio with storage and transport solutions for small filling quantities. The various jerrycan sizes are available in a choice of configurations and offer maximum user-friendliness, safe handling and stacking as well as excellent residual emptying. Manufactured using modern 3-layer technology, the containers provide maximum safety and protection for a wide range of applications. The optional CLEANCERT version, which is based on the FSSC 22000 system certification, reduces any contamination risks with regard to material, process and product to an absolute minimum and thus meets even the highest requirements in the paint, varnishes and coatings industry.
Safe storage and easy emptying: the Ecobulk SX-D OV
SCHÜTZ will also be presenting a range of IBC variants. Thanks to its double-walled construction, the SX-D OV is ideal for transporting and storing highly flammable, combustible liquids. This IBC also has an outlet fitting integrated into the outer shell, allowing the filling product to be conveniently discharged from below.
Optimised solutions for special products
SCHÜTZ also offers IBCs for the efficient, spillage-free transport of viscous substances; these containers can be further adapted to meet the exact requirements of the contents. For example, special container geometries, such as the Ecobulk HX-EX, allow almost complete residual emptying of the packaging. All SCHÜTZ IBCs can be fitted with the SCHÜTZ Impeller, a single-use agitator. At ECS, SCHÜTZ will be presenting a new version of the Impeller with an optimised wing profile specially developed for low stirring speeds. The modified geometry ensures an even distribution of the ingredients even at low Impeller speeds. Made from 100% recyclable plastic, the new version combines innovation, efficiency and sustainability.
The best of both worlds: the Combi steel drum
With the Combi steel drum, SCHÜTZ has developed a product that combines the advantages of two packaging worlds: the stability, safety and permeation protection of steel packaging and the cleanliness, corrosion resistance and chemical resistance of plastic packaging. This makes it ideal for filling products with high safety requirements, such as highly permeable, aggressive or corrosive substances. As well as the Combi steel drum, at ECS SCHÜTZ will be presenting a range of other steel and PE drums for sensitive applications.
New pallet solutions for modern transport methods
SCHÜTZ has developed a new plastic frame pallet and a new steel skid pallet for the smooth transport of IBCs. Both variants are specially designed for modern storage and transport methods such as high-bay storage, in-house conveyor technology and automated warehouses and are characterised by their exceptional robustness. Thanks to the materials they are made of, both pallets also score highly in terms of sustainability. The plastic frame pallet, made of 100% highly impact-resistant HDPE from SCHÜTZ’s own high-quality recycled plastic, sets a benchmark in sustainability. This ties in with a core component of SCHÜTZ’s corporate philosophy: the development of an efficient, closed-loop system of packaging solutions through the use of recyclable materials.
SCHÜTZ packaging delivers superior results in terms of safety, durability and quality. SCHÜTZ will be presenting its latest packaging solutions at ECS in Nuremberg at Stand 4-356 in Hall 4.
